I have three websites; I am now consolidating them into one, with the other two hooked up as subdomains. They're operational now, but if somebody would like to check them out before I open them for business, that would be appreciated:

Incidentally, I'm also going to start using the message board to post / re-post materials I find that don't quite fit into the blog. I did this at one time, but got out of the habit.

Seems to be working well. A few quick click-throughs didn't find any broken links or missing images.

If you're interested, I'd be happy to help you with an htaccess file that redirects the domain but preserves paths.
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/8450 ... g-the-path explains it pretty well.

Thanks for checking on that. I was going to just upload a set of redirection pages -- that's easy to do -- but I'll sleep on the htaccess file.

I had some problems with the subdomains -- pictures wouldn't show. I contacted Fatcow, and was told to hard-code the image files in my HTML pages. I replied firmly in the negative, and escalated the matter to tech support. Before they got back to me, however, on poking around I incidentally noticed a comment about hotlink protection, and thought: "Y'know, that looks suspiciously like hotlink blocking." I put the two subdomains in my hotlink blocking exclusion list, and all worked fine.

PS: On my travels Back East, I stopped at the Saint Louis Zoo. Of course, I made a point of getting shots of the memorial to Marlon Perkins.
